Phil Foden is now the odds-on favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award this season
Manchester City forward Phil Foden is now the odds-on favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award after scooping up the Football Writer's Association's Footballer of the Year earlier this month.
Bookmakers instantly slashed Foden's odds of winning the PFA's award after that win with the latest betting odds now making him 4/6 to win the award.
Foden previously won the PFA Young Player of the Year award back in 2020-21 and 2021-22 with two fantastic consecutive seasons for Pep Guardiola's side.
Bet365 have now cut Foden's odds into odds-on with the latest probability of him winning this season's PFA Player of the Year award now at 60% according to the latest betting market.
England will be hoping that Foden continues his fantastic form this season into this summer's European Championships with the player expected to be one of the first names on the teamsheet.

What the expert says...
Phil Foden's odds to win the PFA Player of the Year award have shortened even further now with bookmakers making him odds-on at 4/6 to win the award after he was crowned Football Writers Footballer of the Year earlier this month!
Manchester City teammate Rodri is second favourite for the award with Arsenal's Declan Rice third
Rodri has arguably been the best midfielder in the world for the past two seasons and that fine form has seen him stay at second favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award.
The Spanish midfielder was in the PFA Team of the Year last year and he'll be looking to do one better this year by winning the main prize.
It looks unlikely though with Foden odds-on to win it and he could well following in teammate Erling Haaland's footsteps in winning the FWA's award, PFA award and Premier League Player of the Season too.
PFA Player Of the Year Betting Odds
City are the 4/11 favourites to win the Premier League this season with three games left
Betting also remains available on the Premier League title race with Arsenal still leading the way in the Premier League table on 83 points putting them 1 point ahead of Man City.
City though have a game in hand against Arsenal's rivals Tottenham Hotspur next Tuesday and any sort of dropped points by either side will likely give the other what they need to win the title.
Arsenal will face City's rivals Manchester United on Super Sunday this week and Pep Guardiola will be looking for help from the other side of Manchester in the title race this year.
Premier League Title Winner 23/24 | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Man City | 4/11 | 73.3% |
Arsenal | 9/4 | 30.8% |
Liverpool | 500/1 | 0.2% |
