10:45 South Sydney Rabbitohs v North Queensland Cowboys

South Sydney Rabbitohs

To Win

50 WIN

Both sides are having hugely disappointing seasons with just 1/9 wins for South Sydney and 2/10 for North Queensland. NQ Cowboys have lost on 4 of their last 6 trips here and I can't back them at 4/11. The visitors far more appealing at 33/10 here with their one win coming at home.

South Sydney Rabbitohs 8.50

Handicap (2-way)

50 WIN

NQ Cowboys have lost their previous 5 on the spin and they've conceded 20+ points in all 5 of those losses. They've been unconvincing all term. South Sydney have had big issues of their own but welcome back some important players here and won't want to lose heavily at home.

Over 49.50

Total Points

50 WIN

Two of the worst three defenses in the NRL going head to head here which suggests we could be in for a high scorer. South Sydney's 9 matches have had 520pts scored in them at an average of almost 58 per game. While NQ's have seen 53.2pts per game
10:50 4 Jours de Dunkerque 2024 Stage 5

Jenno Berckmoes

Win Outright

50 WIN

Jenno Berckmoes is a talented Belgian rider who recently picked up a first win at the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali and finished 1st overall in the points classification. Has been consistent in Dunkerque so far with top 32 finishes in all 4 stages, but this looks like one he can attack.
10:50 Antoine Huby vs Thomas Gachignard

Thomas Gachignard

Matchups

50 WIN

This looks like a ready made stage for Thomas Gachignard and one that he will most certainly attack. Antonie Huby seems to be dealing with some injury issues and Gachignard has more form, coming into this off an impressive top 10 at Tro-Bro Leon and top 50s in all 4 stages here so far.
10:50 Jenno Berckmoes vs Alexis Renard

Jenno Berckmoes

Matchups

50 WIN

Jenno Berckmoes has had more impressive results in his short career compared to Alexis Renard so far, including more victories than the French rider. He's also far more consistent, rarely dropping outside the top 20 places and in good form.
10:50 Luca Van Boven vs Alexandre Delettre

Alexandre Delettre

Matchups

50 WIN

Delettre is still awaiting a maiden win but has shown lots of quality in recent times, including top 3s at Paris Camembert and La Route Adelie de Vitre. Solid 21st in the previous stage while van Boven struggled and has a more complete team around him.
10:50 Riley Sheehan vs Kasper Asgreen

Kasper Asgreen

Matchups

50 WIN

29 year old Kasper Asgreen is a decorated rider who has so much quality. He's far more experienced than Riley Sheehan and often performs well in Dunkerque. Did well in the mountains in Tour de Romandie in Switzerland last month and has shown more consistencies than Sheehan.
13:00 HC Odense Women vs Nykobing FH Women

Tie

Money Line

50 WIN

Nykobing weren't given a chance in this series, but showed their quality with a 4pt win in game 2 to keep the series level at 1-1. A trip to Odense is a trickier test, but both have similar form including 1 tie in their last 5 and they have the momentum right now. Tie at 14/1 good value.
13:00 Holstebro Women vs Bjerringbro FH Women

Tie

Money Line

50 WIN

Bjerringbro seem too shortly priced here given they have just 1 win in their last 18 matches. During that run, 3 of their matches ended in ties. Holstebro meanwhile have lost only 4 of their last 18 at home and despite the step up in test here, this should be a close contest.
14:00 Tipperary v Sligo

Draw

FT Result

50 WIN

Tipperary weren't at their best in defeat to Antrim last weekend but have a much stronger record at home here. Sligo eased past Wexford at home but this is a trickier test and their record isn't great at Thurles. Likely to be tight.

Tipperary 5.50

Handicap

50 WIN

Sligo start as marginal favourites but their away form has been a concern all season in truth. Tipperary covered this spread in a tricky trip to Antrim last week and don't often lose heavily at home.
15:00 Carlow v Fermanagh

Draw

FT Result

50 WIN

Carlow tied their opener at Laois last time out and I could see a similarly close encounter against Fermanagh here. The visitors dominated Wicklow but this is a much stiffer test and been numerous close games at Cullen Park this term.

Carlow 5.50

Handicap

50 WIN

Fermanagh look a good side this term but definitely a drop on when they play on the road. Carlow battled hard to avoid defeat at Laois last weekend and will know this is a crucial game if they hope to progress.
15:00 Kerry v Monaghan

Kerry

FT Result

50 WIN

Kerry were dominant in winning the Munster Finals a fortnight ago and you'd expect them to dominate at home to a Monaghan side that they've had the better of throughout this and recent campaigns.
15:00 Limerick v Offaly

Draw

FT Result

50 WIN

Limerick were utterly outplayed at Down last weekend, losing by 14pts in the end. They'll need a bounce back and Offaly isn't a bad opponent to face, having suffered a 14pt defeat themselves. Tightly matched as the odds suggest and the draw is a real possibility.

Limerick 1.50

Handicap

50 WIN

I give Limerick the marginal edge as the home side but I expect it to be very close. Both gave up 20 single points last week, with Offaly conceding 2 goals compared to Limerick's 1. Both don't score too many so likely to stay tight.
16:00 Wexford v Antrim

Draw

FT Result

50 WIN

Unlikely to be a huge amount in this. Wexford gave a good account of themselves away at Sligo last time out, before losing narrowly at the end. While Antrim were victorious at home against a weaker Tipperary side. Very little has separated them in recent years when they've met though and the bookies can't seem to separate them by much

Wexford 1.50

Handicap

50 WIN

Defensive issues remain over both sides and I could see this being an entertaining clash. Wexford are more in need of the win after a narrow loss at Sligo and for me that could well be the difference. They have a great home backing at Wexford Park and have not lost many at home this year.
17:00 Mayo v Cavan

Mayo

FT Result

50 WIN

We know the quality of this Mayo side all too well. They dominated Div 3 A earlier this season with 5/5 wins and a points difference of +60. Cavan were 3-0-2 in that league and were nowhere near when the sides met.
17:00 Waterford v Kildare

Waterford 13.50

Handicap

50 WIN

This is a very substantial spread, particularly with Waterford playing at home. They lost by 5pts at Leitrim last time out while Kildare were 10pt winners vs Longford, but I don't see a double digit win here. Waterford are a competitive side and the home fans will be bang up for this one.
17:30 Galway v Derry

Draw

FT Result

50 WIN

Good opening contest this at Salthill. Derry had a good group phase back in March, unbeaten with 4W 1D and it's been a competitive campaign for Galway too. Very rarely much between the teams and the draw appeals at 8/1.
18:00 Clare v Cork

Clare

FT Result

50 WIN

Clare were 3-26 3-24 winners against Cork on the road in April and at 7/2 look an appealing price to find a victory at home here. Cork have had an indifferent season and Clare seem more of a united team group, with an excellent home record.
18:00 London v Down

Down

FT Result

50 WIN

Down have a point to prove after their heartbreaking Ulster SFC semi-final defeat against Armagh in April. They started the Tailteann Cup with a rout of Limerick by 14pts and should be too strong for this London side.

London 10.50

Handicap

50 WIN

Down should get the job done here, but I think London will be more competitive than this spread suggests, with a 5 or 6 points road win most likely. London had a strong 14pt win of their own at Offaly in matchday one and will know keeping this tight gives them a good chance of progression.
