This looks a trickier coure than the categories would suggest with quiet a few bumps along the way so I dont think many sprinters will fancy it. The GC guys certainly wont; so Im not sure who will want to chase the break. Valgren caught the eye on stage 2 where he got in the break and was just out-sprinted finishing second. He looked impressive on the hilly stage 10 where he kept up with the climbers for a long way suggesting his legs are good. I think he goes for the win again.

In their last game I pointed out that The Thunder had regressed badly in offensive rebounds since the opening game. In the game against the Mavericks which they lost 105-101 they won just 6 offensive rebounds as opposed to 15 by the Mavericks. Simply working on this could tip the next game in their favour. They did just that winning 12 next time. I expect them to do the same and get the win again.

Despite the long flat start there is clearly hope for thr breakaway on this stage. The only question si will Pogaar really want his team to hase down the break or just rest on his laurels with more mounatinous stages to ome. Im thinking a beak may stay away and be won by a punchy climber. There is still life in Bardet as last month's seond to Pogaar at the Liège-Bastogne-Liège showed. Now out of that competition they can fully focus on securing the last Champions League spot. With a tricky last game away at Palace they will want to win this to ensure the top 4. Liverpool cant win the title now so have nothing to play for. Liverpool's form has been far from convincing of late with a heavy home defeat to Atalanta , a loss at home to Palace and a defeat away to Everton.
