Roy Hodgson still odds-on to be the next Premier League manager to depart
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson remains the clear favourite with bookmakers to be the next Premier League manager to leave with Palace sitting in 14th in the Premier League table.
Palace fans turned on the board and Hodgson after they were thumped off Arsenal on the 20th January but a win against Sheffield United in the midweek games will have eased pressure on them slightly.
BetVictor though have kept Hodgson as the odds-on favourite to be the next manager to be sacked with the latest odds putting him at the top of the market at 4/5.
Those latest odds say there's a 55% implied probability given that Hodgson will be the next manager sacked in the league.
Next Premier League Manager To Leave | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Roy Hodgson | 4/5 | 55.6% |
Jurgen Klopp | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Erik ten Hag | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Eddie Howe | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Mauricio Pochettino | 16/1 | 5.9% |
What the expert says...
Roy Hodsgon's Crystal Palace team put in a lacklustre performance against Arsenal on back in January with fans turning on the players, manager and the club as a whole with banners in the away end.
Jurgen Klopp moves into second favourite after announcing he'll leave at end of the season
Jurgen Klopp is the second favourite in the betting market now to be the next manager to go after he announced he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Klopp's departure from Liverpool caused shockwaves amongst Merseyside and the rest of the Premier League with it coming really out of the blue.
Despite Klopp saying he will leave at the end of the season he's now moved into 6/1 to be the next manager to leave and to go before the season ends.

Sheffield United remain heavy favourites at 1/33 to be relegated
Sheffield United's latest loss against Crystal Palace on Tuesday has seen their odds shorten even further into 1/33 to be relegated this season.
The Blades have looked better on the pitch since Chris Wilder came back in but they've still not been getting results and stay bottom of the table.
Burnley and Luton Town are second and third favourites in the relegation market with the promoted teams expected to go straight back down judging by those odds.
Premier League Relegation 23/24 | Odds | Probability |
